Share market course in Odisha colleges is slated to start very soon as the Odisha Government has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NSEIL. The MoU has been signed between the the Higher Education Department and National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSEIL).
The college students under the Share market course in Odisha will be taught about Mutual fund investments, share markets and other such topics free of cost. This will be a part of implementation of the NSE BFSI Skilling Programme. The course will span across 30 hours and will help students to acquire practical skills about shares and investments.
The official letter from the Government of Odisha reads, “With reference to the letter no. 32695 dated 17.06.2026 cited above, I am to say that the Higher Education Department has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSEIL) for the implementation of the NSE BFSI Skilling Programme, which will be executed by M/s Talent Skillsvarsity.”
The letter on starting of the share market course in Odisha colleges further states, “As part of this initiative, a Mutual Funds Certificate Programme of 30-hours along with structured preparation for the NISM VA Certification will be provided to students across specialized streams, including B.Com, BBA, BMS, BA (Economics/Commerce), MBA, and M.Com. Therefore, you are requested to kindly nominate a Nodal Officer for the above said program. The designated official should preferably be a faculty member from the disciplines of Commerce, Management, Economics, or related fields.”
